Preliminary findings suggest that CovaWound™ Alginate is a highly absorbent alginate dressing, which holds exudate in the dressing preventing maceration and excoriation to the peri-wound skin. The study concludes that CovaWound™ Alginate is an effective dressing when used under compression therapy.
