Lindsay Leg Club

The very first Leg Club was founded in 1995 by Ellie Lindsay, a district nurse in Suffolk, after she became aware of the evidence around the impact that isolation and social factors had on individuals experiencing lower limb problems (Lindsay Leg Club, 2019). Since 1995 the network of Leg Clubs (community-based leg ulcer care clinics) has grown significantly and today there are established clubs running throughout the UK, Europe and Australia (Lindsay Leg Club, 2019).
